Heavy-Duty Pallet Flow Options For Dependable Flow No Matter How Many Pallets Deep
UNARCO offers a variety of pallet flow wheel options, such as single, in-line wheels; double, staggered wheels; or triple staggered wheels. While traditional pallet flow lanes for 2-3 pallets deep used metal skate wheels, deep-lane flow manufactured with durable, plastic wheels can add sophisticated braking and wheel alignment patterns.
Pallet Flow Rack systems are gravity-driven and UNARCO’s numerous configurations and designs ensure products flow with little hindrance or maintenance. Wheels are available in high-strength polycarbonate/plastic options, and can be configured to meet any normal pallet capacity. In-line wheels are available on 2″, 3″, or 4″ centers to assist with concentrated loads. For extreme loads, staggered wheels on 1½” or 2″ centers can be added.
Once the pallet arrives at the picking position, product is retained by an integrated pallet stop. These stops are made of high-strength steel for added durability. Plastic pallet flow wheels work in conjunction with highly-engineered braking systems to flow up to 25 pallets deep. A 3-track system uses a single rail on either side and a double wheel pattern with brakes in the center to control pallet speed.
Notched flow lane units rest in the step of the beam to add a lower profile which protects the ends of the flow rail. A Tek screw can be drilled into the beam step to secure the rail in place. The special notching around the step of the beam allows for a very secure fit.
In-line brakes for plastic pallet flow lanes are customized to each application to ensure that products flow at the recommended speed of 40 to 60 feet per minute.

UNARCO has a pallet flow option for every project and can test various wheel arrangements and pitch with your actual product and pallets in our testing facility to ensure proper flow. Heavy-loads and deep lanes are not a problem and designs can be configured to flow up to 25 pallets deep. Warehouse space is at a premium and creating a high-density picking operation with pallets nested as close to each other as possible removes aisles and maximizes floor area for efficient product flow.

Pallet Flow Options
UNARCO heavy-duty pallet flow rack side rails are manufactured to be strong enough to handle all of the abuse from heavy pallets and constant product movement.
Special beam sections can be manufactured for floor level pallet flow rack applications to raise pallet flow lanes off the warehouse or distribution center floor.
For difficult to flow pallets or steel containers, UNARCO also manufactures Full-width metal rollers in widths from 4.25" to 52" wide and load capacities up to 5,000 lbs. Two and three track systems are available in both plastic and metal wheel configurations. Pallet Flow Rack lanes drop into the rack and are moveable within the pallet racking bay to adjust to any pallet size.
