STRAIGHT-LEG PALLET RACK REPAIR FRAME
Pallet rack repair options are available that will fit your existing warehouse pallet rack. The Straight-Leg upright repair kit is a tubular front post which lines up with your existing post. It replaces the damaged portion of your pallet rack upright and comes in T-Bolt, Interchangeable, or Structural rack style holes to allow beam placement. Trained installers can complete the rack repair without even having to unload the pallet rack, thus saving time and eliminating disruption to daily warehouse operation.
Straight-Leg pallet rack repair kits are available in 3×3 or 4×3 closed tube columns. The reinforcing saddle connector is welded to the new frame bottom and can be installed with bolts or field-welded in place. In the bolted rack repair option, the existing pallet rack uprights must either have side punching through which the bolts are secured or be connected with a T-Bolt through the front.
Sturdy structural channel bracing connects to a back saddle which wraps around the rear post of the pallet rack upright. This bracket can also be bolted or field-welded, depending on the existing upright punching.
Pallet rack repair kits are manufactured to fit all major RMI rack manufacturers’ product. For a proper fit, uprights should be measured and field dimensions sent to your sales representative or UNARCO Engineering. UNARCO Project Management can coordinate a site inspection and all phases of pallet rack repair, and set up a pallet rack repair safety program.
UNARCO also offers a sloped-leg option to remove the lower level upright leg from forklift traffic. Either option is available in a bolted version for minimal interruption to your facility operation.
System Highlights:
Straight-Leg Pallet Rack Repair Kits can be installed in operating warehouses with minimal interruption to business.
Engineered, custom-designed repair kits
Upgrade to a double column post at the bottom section for future protection
Standard pallet rack components allow the use of bottom beams
Offload lower level pallets on either side before starting repair
Bolted and welded rack repair options available
Straight-leg upright repair kits can increase the gauge of current existing pallet racks for additional protection from future damage. A double column or heavier bracing can add an additional durability to areas where forklift impact is common. These upgrades can also be combined with welded-on straddle protectors or added column protection and end-of-aisle guards from UNARCO's entire line or durability add-on accessories.
Protect your initial investment and keep your warehouse safe, all while allowing the use of beams at lower levels with UNARCO custom pallet rack repair kits.

Straight-Leg vs Sloped-Leg Repair Kits
Straight-leg repair kits keep the same function as existing pallet rack and allow bottom beams to be placed at any level below the joint. Another option for high-traffic areas are sloped-leg repair kits, which will angle the front leg of the frame into the bay so that it is out of harm's way. However, sloped-leg repair kits do not provide for the attachment of lower level beams.
